Went into that peaceful place
Felt sane for moments
Kept me from losing my mind
Allowed me to be ME
Contained the RAGE
Continued breathing, living in deep distress
Eased the pain
Reduced the suffering
Laughed at the hypocrisy, horror, sadness, emptiness, and numbness
Led me to you
Helped me release you and find ME
Addiction….
Addiction can be destructive though it helps many of us through some of our toughest times. As we realize we can truly step into our authentic selves our need for our addiction diminishes. The realization, of the enlightenment, is the key to releasing us from our own suffering.
